Mark Rowland B.Sc.(Hons)
A graduate of Manchester University, Mark has worked on a diverse range of crops in several countries around the world, and has published four research papers.
Mark has considerable experience of running trials, which over the years have included wheat, groundnuts, cotton, lisianthus, and antirrhinums, as well as sweet peas, tomatoes and chillies.
He gained an international reputation for breeding early cut flower sweet peas, and has enhanced that reputation with such varieties as tomato 'Sweet Aperitif'. Mark now specialises in breeding indeterminate cherry tomatoes and chillies.
